Q:Is the venue safe and secure? A: Absolutely, no attempt of crime for the past 30 years.
Q:How far is the venue from the N1 highway? A:3km Dirt Road (condition-good)
Q:Being so close to the highway, is it peaceful & quiet? A:You can rest assured, there is no highway noise or lights that will disturb you.
Q:What if we have special dietary requirements? A: Please inform in advance we will gladly assist.
Q:Do you serve vegetarian food? A:Yes
Q:Do you have a thatch roof? I am an asthma sufferer and in the past I suffered when staying in a thatched guest cottage. A: Nope.
Q:What type of breakfast is served? A: Continental or English. Its your choice.
Q:How far is Zoutspruit from the main cities? A: 185km from Bloemfontein. 203km from Johannesburg.
Q:You advertise bed & breakfast. What if we would like to have extra meals? A:On request, dinner and lunch.
Q:We have pets and we are looking for an overnight stop on our journey. What is your policy on pets? A: Pets and children always welcome we had lots of pet friends, in the past.
Q:A member of our family have a medical condition. How far is the closest hospital? A: 20km
Q:I may need to send a fax after I arrive. Do you have a fax machine or other facilities? A: Yes, fax and Internet available.
Q:Are you able to accommodate disabled persons? A: Yep, haven’t had any but al units are ground level.
Q:We will be arriving late at night. Will we be able to find the Zoutspruit Guest House in the dark? A:No problem. Day/night sensitive lights,
Q:I believe that the winters in the Free State are quite cold. What arrangements do you have for visitors? A: Electric blankets, wall panel heaters and sherry. Hot bottles in your bed if you are still cold.
Q: We have been eaten alive at a Guest Lodge in the Lowveld. Are mosquitoes a problem at Zoutspruit? A: Every room has mosquito reppelant as well as doom.
Q: Our entire family have to visit Kroonstad for a wedding. How many persons are you able to accommodate? A:5 rooms and 1 5* Luxury Safari Tent
Q:Do you have a honeymoon suite? A: Yes, 5* Luxury Safari Tent in the Game Camp next to the guest Rooms. Private.
Q: I note that you have hiking in your game camp. Is there a danger involved? A:No only 5 species of buck in the camp and NO incidents since we had it.
Q: I am a frequent traveller in this area. Can I negotiate a special rate? A: Bookings for 5 nights in a row, discount negotiable.
Q: We require accommodation for approximately a week (or longer). Do you accommodate visitors staying for an extended period? A:We had guest for 3 months stay. Discount applies. Accommodation payable upfront.
Q:We have to attend a function in Welkom. How far are you from the Free State Gold fields and how accessible is it from Zoutspruit? A: Conveniently accessible about 3 quarter hour drive +-80km We accommodated them.
Q:I am an engineer involved with the De Beers Voorspoed diamond mine north of Kroonstad. I have a truck loaded with valuable equipment. Will it be safe if I park it overnight at Zoutspruit? A: Yes, it can be confirmed by the guest of De Beers that we accommodated in the past. Zoutspruit is the safest Guest House around.
Q:Our domestic servant will accompany us on our holiday. Do you have accommodation suitable for her? A:Yes
